In order to count for score, the dart must be touching the bristle board in the number pie or wedge with the point of the dart.

It is the responsibility of the player to verify his opponent’s written score before removal of the darts.

It is permissible for a partner of a spectator to advise the thrower during the course of the game of the amount left, number to be thrown at or several combinations left needed to win.

SPECIAL RULES:
If a scorer is used, the following rules are also in effect:

The scorer may inform the throwers what he has left but may not inform the thrower what he has left in terms of combinations.

The scorer may call for a re-throw for the cork if it cannot be decided which dart is closer to the cork or, if both darts are in the red bull or black bull.

No darts may be touched by the player or other persons prior to the decision of the scorer.

It is each player’s responsibility to verify his/her score before removing his/her darts. The score stands as written if one or more darts are removed.
