LAW ENFORCEMENT GAMES CYCLING GUIDING BODIES EVENTS Criterium to be held on a circular course usually less than 1 mile in distance, multiple laps are done depending on the number of miles in the race. Men and Women 19 – 29, 25 miles. Men 30 – 34, 20 miles, Men 35 – 39 15 miles, Men 40+ and Women 30+, 10 miles. 1000 Meter Time Trial The course will be a start/finish. All competitors will race against the clock. Times are recorded Medals will be awarded for fastest times. Road Race To be held on the county streets. The roadway course is considered an open course which means vehicular traffic may be present. The centerline rule is in effect for the whole course except the final sprint. Cones will be placed for final sprint. Men 54 and under and Women 34 and under, 40 miles. Men 55 and older and Women 35 and older, 20 miles. 10 Mile Time Trial. The course will be 5 miles out and back. All competitors will race against the clock. Times will be recorded. Medals will be awarded for fastest times. Tour De Games: Competitors can enter the Tour De Games competition. All individual cycling event times are added together, the competitor with the fastest total time in each age group will be awarded a Tour medal.
