SLO-PITCH SOFTBALL

GUIDING BODIES:
Law Enforcement Games
Amateur Softball Association (ASA)
United States Slow-Pitch Softball Association (USSSA)

EVENTS:
Competition is offered in the following divisions: Men Open, Men +40, Women Open and Co-Ed.

BRACKETS:
Pool Play

COMPETITION DURATION:
This is a weeklong tournament with co-ed competition being played in the daytime and the men open, men +40 and women being played in the evenings.

GENERAL RULES:

No metal spikes allowed

No courtesy runners, except +40 division (1 courtesy runner per inning)

Game time is forfeit time – no grace periods

Ten players require to start game – can finish with nine (except co-ed)

Time limits on all games: 1 hour and 15 minutes

Full matching uniforms are encouraged but not required

Judgment calls cannot be protested

Three home run rule – after that out 

Mercy rule: 20 runs or more after 3 innings, 15 runs after 4 innings, 10 runs after 5 innings.
