CLAYS : Sporting, 5 Stand

 

GUIDING BODIES:
Law Enforcement Games
National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA)

EVENTS: Shooters will be classified according to the scores shot.

CLASSIFICATIONS Sporting:  100 targets  

5 Stand :     50 targets

Groups:  Sporting Clays events will use the Lewis Class style system to determine a shooters GROUP. (Number of competitors divided by number of groups = competitors in each group).     GROUPS:   I,  II,  III,   IV,   V

      MAIN - A category whereby competition is open to all contestants without regard to age or sex.

      CONCURRENTS: Additional events not requiring additional targets to be shot. It may include 2 Man Teams, 5 Man Teams, Lady, Age or Retired categories.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED BY COMPETITORS:
hotgun and sufficient ammunition applicable to the event being conducted.

Eye and ear protection is MANDATORY

COMPETITION DURATION:
Usually requires one day for an unmodified event.

GENERAL RULES:
As defined in the NSCA Rule Book. (Subject to modification by the Sports Director)
