EVENTS:
Triathlon is offered for men and women in individual and team competitions by age divisions as stated in the application booklet. This event consists of a ¼ mile swim, 14-mile bike course, and a three-mile run.

Swim Course: All competitors will start at the same time. They will swim away from the beach or lake, turn at bout and swim parallel to the shore, turn at second buoy, and swim back towards the shore. Competitors will exit the water to the designated transition area where the bikes will be racked.

Bike Course: Competitors will mount their bikes at the transition area. The bike course is and "out and back" course.

Run Course: After returning the bike to the bike rack, runners will then proceed to an "out and back" run course.

COMPETITION DURATION:
Competition lasts about four (4) hours.

GENERAL RULES:

Everyone must check-in at the designated time prior to competition.

Competitors will be assigned a number which will be clearly marked on there arm and leg.

Relay teams will be comprised of one swimmer, one runner, and one biker.

Mixed teams must have at least one (1) female member.

Helmets are required for bike race.

Last minute changes and distance modifications may be made but will be kept as close as possible.

Competitor may compete as an individual or on a team but not both.
